Our story

Before starting Momentum we (Anders and Rune) built Aula (’Slack for education’) to $3M ARR and 60 employees before getting acquired.

We spent 80% of our time on repetitive tasks; in the last 20%, we did the blue sky thinking that led to all our breakthroughs.

We created Momentum to eliminate repetitive tasks and free people up for more creative, impactful and fulfilling work.

What we do

At Momentum, we want to empower everyone to create AI assistants that automate repetitive tasks. Our first assistant is built for salespeople. They waste 5 hours each week extracting insights from sales calls to write notes and follow-up emails. Momentum uses sales call recordings to do it for them.

Where we are

We’re still early, but our first users love the product, and we’re working with them every day to make it even better. We have the first paying users from cold outreach, we have the first paying team coming onboard and we have early signs we could build a truly explosive product-led growth motion.

Where we’re going

We expect generative AI to have an impact on the same level as the iPhone. There are some extraordinary technical research companies in the space (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc). They ask the important question: ‘How can we make better generative AI models?’

We are not a technical research company, we are a product company. We ask the question: ‘How can we make generative AI more useful?’ By taking this approach we believe that we can play a pivotal role in making generative AI useful in the enterprise.

Specifically, our first product generates the first-ever complete data trail of customer conversations that could enable customer-facing teams to work radically different — we think that’s an exciting place to be.
